Atlanta Clan na nGael sent men’s and women’s Gaelic Football teams to the Connolly Cup held in Charlotte on June, 16th. In their first game, the men’s team lost to Charlotte who went on win the cup. In the shield final, Atlanta lost narrowly to DC Gaels in a game that went down to the wire.
Showing great progress from Peach Cup, the Atlanta women’s team ran tournament winners Charlotte very close before falling to a last minute one point loss. In their second game, Atlanta beat a Charlotte/Philly selection to record their first victory of the season.
